Creative Coding Level 3 - Python Bootcamp
Let your young master coders shine this Easter!
Classes are held 10 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
Our top-level coders will be learning Python, one of the most commonly used programming languages, especially favoured by academic institutions. It is a higher-level coding language, and so this course will help aspiring young game designers to get ahead in the industry.
Students will be developing their own games - writing their own code, learning game design concepts and adding animations. While building games, we will also get creative with loops, functions, conditional structures, and physics that will enhance their programming skills. Will you create an epic RPG, a side-scrolling shooter, or a classic arcade hit, we’ll teach you all the skills you need to start your adventure in games developmentand coding.
We will also teach the all-important touch typing, a key skill in any programmer’s life. Coders will find their way around the keyboard playing fun typing games and competing in exciting challenges.
During this course, students will create complex games, develop programming and web design skills, and get to incorporate industry-used algorithms to their work. This course will be an invaluable experience that will boost your child’s career prospects in the future and prepare them much better for GCSEs.
This course will challenge both students that have used Python before and the ones that haven't as we will focus more on writing our own code without instructions and the limitless creations that can be done with code.
Achievements and outcomes
Our teachers will actively record your child’s work throughout the camp and share it with you through ClassDojo - an app which allows you to see photos of your child’s work, be involved in your child’s progress and message the teachers directly if you have any questions. The children will also receive a certificate of completion on the final day.
We will also send you a report card updating you on your child's progress after camp.
